At Maveric Music, we are more than DJ's. We are entertainers, guides and memory makers. Our goal is simple. We want to provide you with the experience of a life time, because after the music stops playing, the lights are turned off, and the guests have gone home, all you will have left is the memorable experience you had, and we want to be part of that.

BRUCE KARNICK - Owner of Maveric Music and Entertainer

I started entertaining even in High School, but it wasn’t till the summer of 1992 that I was a founding partner in SonicWaves DJ Services. After 2 years of success, my partner had to move out of state. Unfortunately, that was the end of SonicWaves, but the story doesn’t end there. I was fortunate enough to have many friends and family members that had their own weddings and wanted me to continue what I started with SonicWaves! I joined Absolute Power Entertainment in 2005 first helping with the marketing and legal materials and providing technical advice and eventually rejoined the working side as an “official” DJ where I was able to work with, entertain and meet many great people. I love to sing and entertain, music has been a passion in my life. I like to tell friends of mine, “DJ’ing is the most fun a person can have for job! (if you can even call it that) I get to be my goofy self, play great music, meet awesome people, participate in some very special occasions and sing!” They always laugh, but understand when they see one of my shows.

Where would any of us be with out our friends? The answer to that is precisely why Maveric Music not only treats our guest with respect, but our fellow entertainers as well. If an emergency were to occur and we had to call in the cavalry, these two would be leading the charge to save the day.

STEVE HAMILTON - Owner of Absolute Power Entertainment and Entertainer

Steve has been in the DJ / Karaoke Scene for over 14 years. It all started at the Castle Rock Café when he was a manager there and his love of it hasn’t stopped since. When you see him work, you can tell it’s for the love of it and not for the “job”. Steve’s experience helped establish many of the local DJ / Karaoke companies. In 2005 he met Bruce and they became instant friends. The two of them talked about Steve starting his own company, and on June 21st of 2005, Absolute Power Entertainment was born. Steve’s passion for excellence is seen everywhere in everything. From the high quality light show, the best possible audio equipment, and having the most entertaining family of DJ’s, Excellence is the way Steve Just does it.

DALE RYDER - Owner of Doctor Dale’s Music and Entertainer

Dale earned his success in the Taylors Falls area by being the guy that everyone knows. He is the most noticeable guy in the room, because he is always talking with his guests and making sure they have a great time! Dale has been a trusted friend since 2005 when, through a meeting of fate, Steve, Bruce and Dale met each other. His experience and musical knowledge is a key factor in his entertainment, he just has that knack for playing the right stuff at the right time!
